The Beta for Star Wars Battlefront has ended, and according to the official website for Star Wars Battlefront, attracted over 9 million people, making it the “single largest beta in the history of EA,” according to senior producer Sigurlina Ingvarsdottir. Star Wars: Battlefront is a series of first- and third-person shooter video games based on the Star Wars films. Originally published by LucasArts beginning in 2004, EA DICE has taken over the franchise following The Walt Disney Company’s acquisition of LucasArts.
According to the US.WOW.com, the Star Wars: Battlefront main gameplay revolves around two armies – the Galactic Republic versus the Confederacy of Independent Systems or the Galactic Empire versus the Rebel Alliance. The two armies are to fight on various maps located in the Star Wars galaxy. In this battlefields, there are several “command posts” which will act as spawn points which can be controlled by either the player or the computer. And the main objective of the game is to eliminate your enemy’s commands points. It’s either you capture neutral or hostile command posts or recapture it, in order to eliminate the enemy’s reinforcement ticket. When all the command posts are captured, the match will be over over.
