Street Fighter V fans receive some good news as a new character has been revealed and the beta testing for the game will launch this weekend.
The Capcom-Unity Blog has announced that Beta testing for Street Fighter V will start on August 28 at 4 PM PST and run through September 2 at 7 AM PST. Capcom hopes that the players enjoy the five-day testing period as they understand fans have been anxiously awaiting the game for almost a year now, but warns that everything might not be completely perfect.
“Although we want you all to experience the awesomeness that is Street Fighter V during this time,” Capcom said, “please note that this is a beta and users may run into connectivity issues. The data is extremely helpful to us, as it will ensure that the final product will have the most optimal net code.”
Capcom also announced that they’ve set up a brand new Twitter account which will provide continuous updates on the Beta testing should there be any updates.
Additionally, Capcom also revealed that R. Mika will be joining the Street Fighter V lineup at PAX 2015. Street Fighter Alpha 3 was the last time we saw this hyper wrestler and multiple installments later, she finally gets her chance in the ring once again. Her reveal trailer reveals her top notch power moves while displaying her incredibly revealing outfit hopefully ensuring that she’ll be a crowd favorite in the game. This will mark 7 confirmed fighters that will make its way into Street Fighter V and with an already positive perspective from the community, fans will just have to hope that Capcom is doing everything they can to make this game awesome.
