The Elder Scrolls Online Reveals Greymoor Expansion

Bethesda and Zenimax Online Studios have officially revealed the yearlong storyline and expansion for the online MMORPG, The Elder Scrolls Online. The expansion is called “Dark Heart of Skyrim” and will feature a darker storyline.

The storyline will begin with the Harrowstorm DLC dungeon pack and will continue in the summer with the Greymoor expansion.

The Dark Heart of the Skyrim will tell the story of Skyrim 900 years before the events of The Elder Scrolls 5. With the Greymoor expansion, players will be able to explore the Western Skyrim, an area haunted by the ancient vampire lord.

As promised by its title, The Elder Scrolls Online will go full gothic with Greymoor introducing vampires, witches, and werewolves to the game.

Zenimax Online Studios also confirmed that even though it is the darkest story in the game, characters like Lyris Titanborn and House Ravenwatch will return in Skyrim.

As the next chapter for The Elder Scrolls Online, Greymoor will follow the previous year-long storyline expansion like Morrowind, Summerset, and Elsweyr. As stated earlier, it will start with the Harrowstorm DLC then followed by Greymoor. Another dungeon pack will also be released after Greymoor and will be concluded by a story DLC.

ZeniMax Online Studios confirmed that the Greymoor expansion will be released on May 18 for gaming PC and on June 2 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
