League of Legends has 134 champions, and with that number, it is normal for players to pick their favorites. You’ll hear of champions such as Sona, Jax, Garen, Lux, Jinx, and so on. The sad part though is that it is also impossible for players to love all these champions.

That’s why for today, we’re putting the spotlight on some of League’s most underrated champions:

Wukong

Most gamers think that Wukong is overrated due to two things: his lack of crowd control skills other than his ultimate, and his lack of sustain. Aside from that, there are a lot of champions that can counter him. However, this Vastayan trickster possesses the strength and agility to play a flexible champion who must work with his skills to confuse his enemies and gain the upper hand.

Rumble

During the early years of League of Legends, Rumble has one of the highest win rates. However, he got nerfed, and people lost their interest. Nonetheless, many believe that he remains to be one of the strongest champions in the game. It’s just that he’s hard to master.

Viktor

Viktor is probably one of the few champions that have always been underplayed and underrated for years. Although he’s strong, he must take a risk to pull off the damage, making him extremely vulnerable to assassins. He also has a low range and low mobility. Aside from that, he also happens to be a squishy caster.

Malzahar

Malzahar can deliver high damage, in fact, he has the highest base damage along with all mages. The problem though is that he has no mobility and he can easily be ganked. Still, Malzahar has a lot of potential here. If only Riot would happen to upgrade his skill kit and improve his mobility. Until then, we will wait for a pro to play him and show us what he can really do.

Skarner

There is only one reason why players think Skarner is underrated — it is because of his outdatedness. Updates are rolled every year, and yet Riot seems not to find any reason to upgrade his skill kit. Some players though see him as a good duelist, while some usually build Skarner as a tank.

Anivia

Anivia is a utility mage who can carry games and deliver insane bursts. With her good crowd control skills and zoning, some may even wonder why she is included in the list. The problem is most players think she has zero mobility and has an ultra high mana costs. She also happens to be one of squishiest champions in the game and is hard to learn.
