Yesterday, we started off with the first five games in our list of the 20 most anticipated games of 2019. And today, we’re naming the second five in the list, which includes this year’s best action games including the sequel to Tom Clancy’s The Division and the fifth installment of the popular Devil May Cry series.

Left Alive

Left Alive is the upcoming shooter video game from Square Enix to be released on February 28. It features a story of survival from the perspective of three different protagonists set in a war-torn Novo Slava during the year 2127. The game was developed by the best veterans of the industry, including Yoji Shinkawa from Kojima Productions, Mech Designer Takayuki Yanase, and Armored Core series director Toshifumi Nabeshima.

Devil May Cry 5

Devil May Cry 5 is the awaited fifth installment of the Devil May Cry series, featuring high-octane stylized action and groundbreaking series. The game will also introduce us to three playable characters each with radically different gameplay, namely Nero, Dante, and a new character named V. The plot follows the story of the young demon hunter Nero as he tries to find the culprit who stole his demon hand and defeat the onslaught of demons, invading the Red Grave City.

The Division 2

Tom Clancy’s The Division 2 is the upcoming action role-playing video game from Massive Entertainment and Ubisoft. The game is said to take place in Washington D.C., set seven months after the events of its predecessor game, wherein a civil war breaks out between the survivors and a band of marauders. In the game, the player must cooperate with each other to complete the given tasks and objectives, which will feature raids that can be played by a team of up to eight players.

Mortal Kombat 11

Back and better than ever, Mortal Kombat 11 is said to be the next evolution of the popular fighting game franchise. The game came as a surprise for fans after its announcement trailer was revealed during The Game Awards 2018 held last December 6th. The trailer showcased an action-packed fighting scene between two of Mortal Kombat’s powerful characters, Dark Raiden and Scorpion. NetherRealm Studios and Warner Bros. Entertainment scheduled the game’s target release on April 23 for Microsoft Windows PC and gaming laptop, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Nintendo Switch gaming consoles.

Rage 2

Rage 2 is the long-awaited sequel to id Software and Avalanche Studio’s post-apocalyptic shooter game. The game is said to be set 30 years after the events of the first Rage game, where the Earth has started to recover from the global catastrophe that hit the planet. It also said to feature a wide-open world environment where players can freely roam and take down post-apocalyptic enemies using your superpowers.
