Total War, a computer strategy game series developed by The Creative Assembly in UK now has a free-to-play series for PC which is named as Total War Battles: KINGDOM. Total War is known as this series of games that combine turn-based strategy and resource management, with real-time tactical control of battles. The first game of the series, Shogun: Total War was released in 2000. The most recent major game released was Total War: Rome II on 3 September 2013. And now, The Creative Assembly revealed that Total War Battles: KINGDOM is currently in development for PC, Mac, and tablets.
Total War Battles: KINGDOM is a new cross-platform online strategy game for PC, Mac and tablets from the makers of Total War. Combining intense battles with army management, kingdom building and devious social plotting, it is aiming to make the ultimate in portable, bite-sized Total War experiences.
The game sets during the chaotic turn of the 10th Century; the world starts to emerge from the Dark Ages divided and at war. Combining realm-building with large-scale tactical battles, players will have the opportunities to manage the needs of their own fiefdom as they marshal formidable armies with which to duel against neighboring kingdoms.

Building Realm
Total War Battles: KINGDOM allows players to progressively create their own world. They will be able to explore, conquer and shape their lands to transform the wilderness into a powerful and productive Realm. Raise new cities, cut down forests, lay roads, build bridges and change the course of rivers etc…
Large scale battles
Players can create and train their own armies, and then lead large scale battles.
The Cross Platform Total War
The games will be playable on multiple devices. No matter which platform players choose, action in Total War Battles: KINGDOM will carry over onto any other device.
