Odyssey, the new entry in the Assassin’s Creed series, is only a few weeks away from its official release. But ahead of that, Ubisoft has announced its plans for Odyssey and its upcoming DLCs which they said will be released continually from this year to the next.

The new content will include everything in the Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Season Pass. Purchasing the Season Pass will give players the access to Legacy of the First Blade which will be released on December, and the Fate of Atlantis which will start on the Spring of 2019. The two DLCs will introduce separate storylines, with the former featuring the story of the first assassin to wield the hidden blade, and the latter focusing on the story behind the mysterious sunken city.

What makes the Season Pass more special aside from those two DLCs is that it will include two remastered Assassin’s Creed games —  Assassin’s Creed III and Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation, it’s spin-off game that was exclusively released for PlayStation Vita.

Assassin’s Creed III is set during 1775, the American Colonies when there is political upheaval, and the natives are fighting for their land. The game follows the journey of a young Native American assassin that will fight to protect his land and people from colonizers, leading to the start of a new revolution. The game was praised for its visuals, combat style, storyline, gameplay mechanics, and naval missions.

During its release in 2012, Ubisoft also launched Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation, an exclusive game for PlayStation Vita. The game was set in 1765 and introduced the first female protagonist of the series, Aveline de Grandpré, an African-French assassin who fights for freedom. It was later released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows in 2014.

According to Ubisoft, the remastered version of Assassin’s Creed III and Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation will feature improved visuals, gameplay mechanics, and ergonomics. The two games can also be bought as a standalone title, which means one doesn’t have to buy Odyssey and its Season Pass just to play Assassin’s Creed III and Liberation.

Assassin’s Creed III and Liberation Remastered Versions are set to launch on March 2019. Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, on the other hand, is scheduled to be released on October 5, 2018, for Microsoft Windows gaming PCs, PlayStation 4, XBox One, and Nintendo Switch.
