Ubisoft has finally revealed a major update for The Division 2, which is expected to be released in late 2021 at the earliest. This update will include a brand-new game mode and new ways to progress with the agent.
The developers shared the update, confirming that more content was coming to The Division. This also means that Title Update 12 will no longer be the last major update in the game. However, the developer team didn’t reveal too much about this new update except a new game mode. According to developers, the brand new game mode will be entirely new to the franchise. The team is currently investigating new ways for players to progress their agents with an emphasis on increasing the build variety and viability.
The major update is still in its early stages of development, and the developers confirmed that it will take several months for it to be completed. It is currently scheduled to release in late 2021 at the earliest. According to the team, the major update will make a meaningful change to the game, so the development time is necessary to ensure that it will be able to deliver what they wanted for Division 2.
Until this major update is ready, Ubisoft Massive is going to rerun previous seasons released during The Division – Year 2. This means that Season 5 will be a rerun of Season 1, and it will give players a chance to collect collectibles and rewards they have missed from the first season. There will also be regular Leagues and Global Events, and will also feature new Apparel Events, and minor Title Updates focused on health.
Division 2 is an action RPG game from Massive Entertainment. It was released on February 7, 2021, on Microsoft Windows gaming pc, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia.
