The release date for Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 has been delayed as announced by its developer, Hardsuit Labs. Originally scheduled to be launched in the first quarter of 2020, it will now be released sometime later in the year.
According to Hardsuit Labs, the developers of the game needs some more time to create the game into something that players are hoping for. And although there will be a delay in the game’s release, Hardsuit Labs promises that the game will still be released next year.
Hardsuit Labs’ CEO Andy Kipling also explained that the reason for the delay was because he and his team decided to value quality over making the Q1 launch window.
He also explained that the extra time will ensure that Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 will live up to the legacy of the Bloodlines game. This includes the further development of branching storylines, characters, and world-building.

Hardsuit Labs also explained that they will also use the extra time to further work on the bugs and avoid the issues that plagued the first game.
Other than that, Hardsuit Labs didn’t give any information about how many months the game will be delayed by.
Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines 2 is an action RPG video game set in White Wolf Publishing’s World of Darkness. It will be released for Microsoft Windows gaming PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
