WarFrame is a free-to-play cooperative game that features a third-person shooter, developed and published by Digital Extremes. This online action game is set in a sci-fi world that lets players take control of the members of Tenno, a race of ancient warriors who have awaken from their cryosleep and found themselves into war with the Grineer, the Corpus, and the Infested. To fight back, the Tenno needs their exo-armor equipped with special abilities known as the WarFrames.

Upon entering the world of WarFrame, you’re introduced into their ancient history which tells the great history of the Tenno, the great warriors of blade and gun, and those that wield the power of the ancient WarFrame armor. Upon the end of the old war, the surviving Tenno were left into a cryo sleep, drifting into the old ruins. However, when the Grineer, a race of militarized human clones, appeared and threatened to destroy the peace, the Tenno were once awakened. You will be guided by the Lotus during your early game, the same entity that awakened you from your cryostasis chamber. She will teach you the basic ways and abilities of your WarFrame, and the secrets to unlocking their potential and power.
Each WarFrames are equipped with its own set of abilities and statistics, and are originally equipped with three different weapons. Your first or primary weapon can either be a rifle, a gun or a bow. While the second weapon can either be a pistol or a ranged bladed weapon like a kunai. It’s third weapon is often a melee such as axes, swords or hammers. All of your equipments can be upgraded with mods that can be earned through your gameplay upon doing missions and side quest, or by buying a premium currency called Platinum. Aside from these, the game also features Companions which can act as a trusted ally for the Tenno and accompany him on missions. Players will earn Affinity throughout the game by killing enemies and completing missions, thus allowing them to level up their equipment, warframes and increase their base attributes and stats.
